Excellent. I just pre-ordered mine now. Looking forward to playing my 2D games with a proper d-pad in handheld mode. Joy-con buttons didn't do it for me.
Nintendo should have released som officiel joy-cons with d-pad already. Well, now Hori will get my money.
I love NES games. I think it's a fantastic service and great price. And SNES games + more will definitely come down the line. It's going to be excellent.
People complain about they never going to own these games, and that VC is gone. But has anyone thought about, that Nintendo could just remove the DRM verification of the Nintendo Switch Online app, and you would then suddenly "own" all the games it contains? The games are directly downloaded to your Switch storage, so it is all there until you remove it yourself.
In many years when the Switch isn't getting produced anymore, and everyone has moved on to Super Switch 3, Nintendo could close down the Online Service for the Switch, and in the same time remove the DRM from the app. Making all it's content available to you forever.
Not sure they would bother, but it could happen. Would be a nice gesture from them, and they would not loose to much, because Switch would just be an old legacy system at that time, that not many people would use anyway. Like the Wii today.
If you are so concerned, then you can just switch off "Automatically Backup Save Data" as shown in the video, and do it yourself manually. It gives you the control that your want.
But it really should'n be necessary. It works seamlessly and with out problems at all when "Automatically Backup Save Data" is turned on.
As I told you before. Of course internal saving will work like before. Cloud saves are totally optional, and you shouldn't even notice it. Stop worrying so much. Your local stored saves will always have precedence over cloud saves.
There are also people who will not sign up for Nintendo Online, so internal saving has to continue to work as before.
The worst thing that can happen to you, is if your Switch get stolen or brakes, and you haven't been online for a while. Then your cloud saves could be old and out of sync. But that's it.
What is also great, is that now you can download all your games and saves to a new Switch, and make it the primary one, if your current Switch brakes or get stolen.
At least once a year you can do it yourself. Before you had to call Nintendo to change your primary console, if your didn't have access to your old one anymore.
You dont have to re-download them again. That is nonsense.
Your NES games and saves are always there on your local storage. But you have to download a new verification token every week, so that you can access all your downloaded NES games again.
Your games will not be deleted after 7 days without a verification.
Maybe Nintendo will delete your local NES games, if they verify that you are not subscribing anymore. That could be, but I do not think so. I just think you loose access to play them, and then you can delete them yourself.
But nothing happens with your local files and games, if the verification token runs out.
A plane trip that takes 7 days?!?
Yes, I see. That is problematic!!! Happens all the time .
I think the most people have their Switch in sleep mode, and connected to internet all the time at home?
Then you have like 7 days with offline NES games, the moment you take your Switch out on a trip, and before you have to think about renewing your verification token.
Is that really such a big problem? Of course it would have been better and more fair, if this verification check was monthly based, instead of weekly. But it is still a minor issue.
@Almighty-Koz
But not all contries and areas have bad data plans and connection.
In Japan and here in Scandinavia we don't have these kind of third world problems. Why can't we have those streaming games?
Sorry if you live in a remote area, but why can't we just move on? Do we need to wait for everyone?
I can't really see the big problem as long as cloud gaming just is a nice alternative for people who live in areas with good connections and affordable data plans. As long as it isn't the main distribution method of games.
It's incredible how people still keep complaining about such small things. What is wrong with the world?
VC is dead folks. Move on! This is a new subscription service, and therefore by nature a "rental" service. We new this for a year now.
I think it's great value for money, because they keep adding games to this service. It's Nintendo's Netflix, and It's so dirt cheap. And I love NES games
Why do people stil complain about VC is gone? And were you really going to keep those VC games until the end of times?
They were digital folks, and tired to the hardware. If your old Wii brakes they are gone forever, unless you send it in to Nintendo. And I am not sure they are fixing those Wii's anymore?
Yes, I think Nintendo should have made these NES games available offline for a month, or at least 14 days. That would have been more fair. But I can live with 7 days also. It's such a minor issue, actually.
But as a subscription service, and because you are only renting these games, they have to make this verification check once a while. It's just how these kind of services works.
It's just to verify your subscription. Doesn't even use a MB of your data plan. Anything else would not make sense.
You download the games, so you have access to them locally. Every 7 days your verification token runs out, and needs to be renewed. But only if it didn't allready happen earlier.
Really? They don't have internet for 7 days? And no data on their phones either?
And still they can afford a Switch and wants to subscribe to a online service, witch main purpose is online gaming? But they do not have access to internet regularly?
@turntSNACO You don't loose your Nes games, you just can't play them if the 7 day long subscription token is running out.
Getting online with your phone, and connect it to Switch to renew this token won't use much of your data plan anyway. Almost nothing a actually. It's a non issue. I can't understand the complaints about this at all.
This cloud gaming is clearly an experiment from Nintendo together with major publishers and their biggest and most demanding games.
The servers are based in Japan only, and the games intended to be played inside Japan on great internet connections.
People in Japan says RE7 is running great, while Americans and Europeans says it runs poorly. This makes sense, because it's only based on servers in Japan currently.
So we in the west have to wait for Nintendo making it available to us, on local servers.
Perhaps. But then Ubisoft and Capcom should offer a rental service for these kind of games.
These cloud games are clearly a collaboration between Nintendo and major publishers. It's based on servers at Nintendo Japan, and those publishers could not pull this off on Switch, without Nintendo reaching out.
I bet it is Nintendo who came to Capcom and Ubisoft, and wanted to try out this cloud gaming experiment with some of the publishers biggest and demanding games.
Nintendo reached out and made this happen. They could also have defined another kind of distribution for these kind of cloud games, instead of a full price model. So Nintendo has something to say here also.
I agree, that there is some issues with distribution of cloud games like this.
But the same goes for online-only games today. The original Splatoon barely had any single player content, and would be worthless as well, if they took down the servers. Other games like Battlefield sufferers from this too. It's the same problem.
I think these single cloud games from Nintendo should be distributed through rental, with a small price pr. month. At least until the cloud back catalogue were bigger, and they also could offer some kind of subscription service.
That would be more fair to customers instead of Nintendo claiming full retail prices for these kind of games.
Why is this a bad idea, if it's only going to be exclusive for Japan? A country with great internet infrastructure.
What I hear is that RE7 is running really great on Switch with those great internet connection over there.
Why should Nintendo wait with game streaming in Japan, were everything is ready for this?
Wait for backward countries like USA to get a proper internet infrastructure? Why should they not experiment with this in Japan?
People are so against this when they can't join the fun. But RE7 is working great over there.
And Assassin's Creed Odyssey could potentially also run much better on cloud servers and good connections, than it would ever do natively on the Switch hardware.
id Tech 6 engine from Bethesda that is used for Doom, is pretty great at scaling down. This makes it possible to run massive games like Doom and Wolfenstein natively on Switch.
Other big engines like Unreal or Frostbite doesn't work to great on the Switch hardware, and therefore makes it impossible to run some large current-gen games on Switch that is developed by those. Then streaming is the only option.
Maybe because it's easy to do?
Capcom and Nintendo already made the heavy lifting and development when they released RE7 this way.
This game could just be a slightly modified PC / PS4 game with some Switch controller inclusion, that run on a great server setup. No processing is done on Switch.
With the great internet infrastructure in Japan, this is a great opportunity for Ubisoft to test cloud / stream gaming.
In Japan they generally have great high speed internet connections most places. Not so much in America or southern parts of Europe.
You need those super high speed connection to make cloud gaming work great. So no surprise that we won't see these titles in the West.
To many areas do no not have the necessary infrastructure to make this work properly, and that would mean to many angry customers for Nintendo to handle.
@penfold007
Yeah. Stupid idea. You are ironic right?
People want d-pad joy-cons for handheld play. Then they release this nonsense, that you can't use in handheld mode. Nintendo is just not listening to their customers.
Would have been nice, if you somehow could use these in handheld mode when they are attached to the Switch. Then we would have a deal Nintendo!
What control are you talking about? You currently have no control over your save files on Switch anyway. You can't move them, or make a physical backup of them. It's all locked.
Cloud saves is a nonsense step in the right direction, and there isn't much to think about. It will just sync/mirror your current save files to the cloud from time to time, and be a reliable backup if you lose your Switch or buy a new one.
I hope Nintendo will make more local backup options available to us down the line, but these cloud saves are a good start.
Cloud saves work differently than a simple highscore. It's actual save data. This is always saved locally on your current playing device, the way normal saves also works now, and then synced to the cloud later.
Like all cloud saves and services like that, it syncs to local storage when it can, and there is a internet connection. I can't see how this could be a problem?!?
If your Switch isn't online very often, then you can't use cloud saves that much. But I can't see why you can't bring it online a couple of times doing a week to let it sync your saves. Then backup saves can't be so important for you?
800 $ is nothing, if you really have made a great game, that people would like to buy. You can develop it, and release it for PC/steam/iOS/Android first.
If the game is any good, then you can easily invest 800 $ in the Switch license (or PS4), and release it there. 800 $ is nothing compared to what you can earn on these platforms if your game is good.
And as you said. This little license fee prevents the e-shop to be flooded with all kind of crap. It's both useful for consumers, and for the real good developer's who makes great games.
Nintendo surely do not. As long as the Switch is selling great, and is getting a lot of support from all kind of developers, then why bother?
Switch is a hybrid machine, and will get a lot of it's own unique games doing its lifespan, as long as it is selling so well.
Sure, a lot of the future big console games will not run on Switch, and people should just buy a PS5 / XNext for these kind of games.
Nintendo has the "Hybrid" market by them selves with the Switch. And just like the 3DS, the Switch is in a unique market position.
Yes, Nintendo will loose some of the big new western titles down the road? But the Japanese publishers will just keep making great exclusive content for the Switch.
This new "hybrid" market is the perfect place for Nintendo to be. And a great fit for all Nintendo games. There is no real market place for another dedicated home console anyway, so why bother about this?
Nintendo has done everything right with the Switch, and will certainly continue down this road. The Switch sales numbers gives them right.
They were huge in Germany and most of central Europe. In Denmark were i live, they were big as well, but not as big as in Germany.
I used to watch all their films on German television with my father when I was a kid back in the eighties. The German voice overs for Bud Spencer and Terence Hill were amazing. I enjoy these movies the most, when I watch them in German language today
A new Mario Kart doesn't really make that much sense on Switch. Same goes for Smash.
The Switch is only a bit more powerful than Wii U, and they perform on a similar graphical level. So how would Nintendo improve on games that are almost perfect for the current hardware capabilities?
The best Nintendo could do, was to make these Deluxe versions of Kart and Smash for Switch, and add more content to them. And that is fine.
If Nintendo were going to release a new Mario Kart for Switch, it had to be some crazy spin-off title with another play style. I can't see how else they could improve on Deluxe with the current hardware.
Stating from scratch with a new Mario Kart on Switch doesn't make much sense. Just make some more great content, and then we can get Mario kart 9 on the next Nintendo console, that comes after Switch.
Splatoon 2 could also just have been re-branded as Splatoon Deluxe. It's almost the same game, with more content added, and some special Switch functions. How could it be any different, when Switch and Wii U are so similar when it comes to performance and graphical capabilities?
I am not sure the Yakuza games will do any better on Xbox than on Switch? It's not like the typical Western audience on Xbox is really into Japanese games at all. Why bother buying an Xbox, if you're interested in Japanese games at all?
I think a Yakuza Switch game will sell quite well, and better than on Xbox. Comparing the Wii U with Switch doesn't make much sense anyway.
Yakuza games does have its biggest audience in Japan. And Japanese gamers love handhelds and the Switch. Bringing the series to handhelds would make a lot of sense. How stupid are SEGA actually?
@JayJ You reason 1, 2 and 3 doesn't really apply in the country I live in. And certainly not for me.
What I heard about RE7 on Switch, it should actually run great, when you have a good connection. And in Japan many people has good and reliable internet connections.
Why can't we have the future now, when there is places like Scandinavia, South Korea or Japan, were the Internet infrastructure is already good and ready enough for a game streaming service?
Do we really need to wait for everyone, before we Kickstart this?
People who don't have any Internet doesn't have any Netflix or Spotify subscription either.
That some people can't use these services doesn't mean that it is wrong, or that it won't happen. The same goes for a Game streaming service.
As long as such a service is just a great alternative for the few with a good enough internet connections, then I can't see the problem.
And the market for physical consoles and games will not disappear over night, as long as there is enough demand for it.
About your reason 4 and 5, I know than many Nintendo gamers are typical traditionalist who likes to collect physical things, and old school stuff. I am one of those types as well. So it's no wonder that most users here on Nintendolife are against streaming of games.
But the new young generation of gamers, that is currently growing up with iPads, YouTube and Netflix couldn't care less about all this physical stuff.
As soon as a great game streaming service arrive, that can be accessed everywhere, and is stable and without latency, a lot of people will be interested. And I know a lot of casual PS4 and X1 players who would sign up for such a service.
@Kirgo
You really think that comments here on a Nintendo site tells anything about what the generel gaming consumer wants?
I see most Nintendo players as traditionalist who likes to collect physical things, and old school stuff. I am one of those types as well. So it's no wonder that most users here are against streaming of games.

Yes. This will happen doing the next 10 years. For sure!
Why are people so much against streaming?
I mean, eventually this will be the future of gaming, no matter what you guys are saying about it now.
How many of you do still buy physical media's for movies or music? Do most of you not use streaming services like Netflix, YouTube or Spotify etc.?
Ok, so many of you are living in backward countries like United States with poor internet infrastructure. But even you will have much better internet connections in 10 years!
And for places like Scandinavia, South Korea or Japan, the Internet infrastructure is already good and ready enough for a game streaming service.
It makes a lot of sense for big companies as Google to already start investing in such a streaming service now, if they want to be the Gaming Netflix of the future. Or it could be to late for them?

And Google has the resources and cloud know-how to make such a streaming service. And I can also see the benefit in not having any connection to the current physical console business at all. Google can start from scratch and make it perfect from the start.
Sony does have all the necessary resources and game library to make a similar streaming service. But their PS-NOW is a disaster! Sony is a conservative hardware company, that just doesn't understand online services at all.
If PS-NOW is going to be a success, Sony needs to let it compete on equal terms with their physical consoles like PS4!
Why is PS-NOW so expensive, and why does it only offer old games?
Why can't I stream all my bought content on PS-Store through PS-NOW?
Why can't I use PS-NOW on all possible devices like smart-tv's and in browsers like I use Netflix? Who needs PS-NOW on their PS4?
Sony needs to do something about those problems, or PS-NOW will just fail. Just like all the other services they have tried with in the past.
The success of streaming services like Netflix or Spotify, has shown that you need to make it accessable on all possible devices, and you need to have premium content and good value for money. PS-NOW doesn't offer anything of this!
The thing is, Sony is using it's market leading position, to force another company like Epic Games to block user data and purchased content for some specific ecosystems, that Sony sees as competitors.
If Sony just refused cross-play and cross-purchases for all other platforms, then this wouldn't be such a big problem. But allowing this for PC, iOS and Android, but not for Switch and Xbox isn't ethical at all. And probably not legal inside EU either?
Google just got two huge fines from EU for misusing it's market leading position with Search engines and mobile ecosystems.
Sony has a similar market leading position inside EU, when it comes to gaming and consoles. As market leader a company has some responsibilities and can't just misuse it's position.
If EU were going to look into this, then I think Sony could be in trouble, and would probably be fined for this behavior!
Making it available as Cross-Play on non console ecosystems, like iOS and Android, and then not allow it for Switch or Xbox, has nothing to do with security. It's a pure business decision!
And what they are doing, can't be legal in EU either. It probably wouldn't hold up in court.
As market leading game console manufacturer in the EU, Sony actually have some legal responsibilities here. They just can't offer cross-play for some companies and ecosystems, and then block it for others who they see as bigger competitors. This is against EU law if you are so dominant in the market as Sony currently is in Europe.
EU doesn't really like anti consumer practices like this from market leading companies. Just ask Apple, Google and MS.
If Sony didn't offer cross-play at all on other platforms, then this wouldn't have been such a big issue. But they can't blacklist some companies for no good reason!
If you won't pay for a game, then that is fine. But consumers are not the same, and some people do not really care that much about graphics and presentation. Only great gemeplay.
Comparing a one man studio like this Wizardfu with WayForward Technologies, that have more than 50 employees, doesn't make any sense at all!!!
If this game is not up to your standard, then just let it be, and don't pay for it. Of course I also expect much more from a WayForward game, with their kind of resources. But I can personally also find a lot of joy in many low-budget/low-production games, made by two or three people.
Have you guys thought about, that many small indie games are made by 1-3 people? And that they simply do not have the skills or time to produce beautiful 2D pixel graphics, like you see in games from bigger indie studies with more employees that includes talented 2d artist?
Studios like WayForward Technologies or Image & Form Games still have a bit more resources than most smaller indie developers / studios.
These 8-bit pixel art are still ok for many people, and the most easy to produce, if you do not have the skills for something better. And the market apparently also still have the appetite for these kind of games.
That way the developers can use their limited resources for the most important part of the game: Great Gameplay!
Ugly games can still be good games to play, but bad games can't really be saved by beautiful graphics.
You just don't produce beautiful 2D graphics with a snap of your fingers, like what you see in games like Shantae or SteamWorld Dig. This takes time, talent and a lot of resources to make.
But games with less stellar graphics and production values, can still be a blast to play, and worth your time and money.
What are you guys talking about? The game easily fits into a 32GB cart, that is already available for publishers. Who cares about a 64GB cart? No switch game is that big yet!
And yes, people are still complaining about the dumbass move from the publishers. Release it on a 32 GB cart, and let the game gost 5-10$ more. Take the little financial hit.
Or the publishers could release the game in two versions. One expensive deluxe version on a 32 GB cart, for those who want to pay for it, and a normal priced DRM cart game, that requires download.
Nintendo could also take over some of the cost for a 32GB cart, when a game is very large. They are interested in happy customers as well, and want to attract big-game AAA studios to the Switch. Everything would help.
People will keep complaining, until they get it right. Why shouldn't they? Right now it so stupid and not very consumer friendly!
@thesilverbrick
You are very negative about this, and act like your know how everything will work. Well, my guess is as good as yours. I am optimistic
I think that the classic games you get through this service will be individual games you can download for free through the e-shop. Will work like other games, but witch a license check every month, or every time you go online.
To begin with, all games are locked to the new online service, but over time when the library is getting bigger with more classic NES, SNES, N64 and GC games, the older games will get a price tag, so you can buy them individually for good, and play them forever with no license check needed.
That way it will be possible for non subscribers to get access to all those games as well, and Nintendo will earn even more money.
You will always have access to the games for free, as long as you subscribe to the online service, but you can also buy them if you wish. Perhaps you will get a huge discount, if you buy the games as a subscriber?
The Online Service will just give you free and early access to all those classic games.
That is my hope and guess for the new online service. Over time it will become the new Virtual Console. Lets see what happens
@sleepinglion
I don't think you stream those games. Probably download them, and perhaps there is a license check every month or so, or every time you go online. That way you can take them with you, when your offline.
Nintendo is not into streaming at all. Way to conservative for that. This is my guess.

Re: Hori's D-Pad Joy-Con Will No Longer Gobble Up The Switch Battery Life
@jhewitt3476
I wouldn't mind specially signed joy-cons that removed features and added others to support special play styles in handheld mode.
A pure D-PAD joy-con set made for best comfort for 2D games on the go, would be really nice.
That is the beauty of attachable controllers. That you can switch them out for different kind of games.
I think Nintendo is missing out on some really great possibilities here.
What about GC joy-cons with analog triggers when GC games arrives to the switch? I think that would be great to for handheld players to.
More options can never hurt.
Re: Hori's D-Pad Joy-Con Will No Longer Gobble Up The Switch Battery Life
@Valdney
Exactly. My wish as well.
If they are going for a great joy-con for 2d games, they should have made it like that. It would be better to play like this.
I am not going to use the analog stick with this thing anyway. Just remove it. I can use a normal joy-con for that.
Re: Hori's D-Pad Joy-Con Will No Longer Gobble Up The Switch Battery Life
Excellent. I just pre-ordered mine now. Looking forward to playing my 2D games with a proper d-pad in handheld mode. Joy-con buttons didn't do it for me.

Yeah. I am little provocative here
USA is such a big country and I know the quality of internet infrastructure and pricing varies so much from area to area. Its the same in Europe.
North Europe and Scandinavia has cheap and fast fiber almost everywhere, with no data caps. Not so much in southern Europe.
I just think that cloud games is a great alternative in areas with good internet infrastructure.

Getting online with your phone, and connect it to Switch to renew this token won't use much of your data plan anyway. Almost nothing a actually. It's a non issue. I can't understand the complaints about this at all.
Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Is Coming To Nintendo Switch, But There's A Catch
@beazlen1
Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Is Coming To Nintendo Switch, But There's A Catch
@kobashi100
Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Is Coming To Nintendo Switch, But There's A Catch
@Smug43
Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Is Coming To Nintendo Switch, But There's A Catch
@Smug43
Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Is Coming To Nintendo Switch, But There's A Catch
@Scirocco7
You are wrong.
Doom on PS4 is around 50 GB, but just under 25 GB on Switch.
Re: Play Nintendo Switch Online Games In Style With These Official Wireless NES Controllers
@Angelic_Lapras_King
This is so much better for Nintendo, financially. Enough fanboys who will buy this anyway
Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Is Coming To Nintendo Switch, But There's A Catch
@Retsam
id Tech 6 engine from Bethesda that is used for Doom, is pretty great at scaling down.
Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Is Coming To Nintendo Switch, But There's A Catch
@westman98
Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Is Coming To Nintendo Switch, But There's A Catch
In Japan they generally have great high speed internet connections most places. Not so much in America or southern parts of Europe.
You need those super high speed connection to make cloud gaming work great. So no surprise that we won't see these titles in the West.
To many areas do no not have the necessary infrastructure to make this work properly, and that would mean to many angry customers for Nintendo to handle.
Re: Play Nintendo Switch Online Games In Style With These Official Wireless NES Controllers
@embison
That was a wired conclusion to make out of this?!? Nintendo just realized how big the market is for Retro gaming.
Of course we will also see SNES titles sooner than later on Switch. Don't be naive!
And Nintendo also wants to sell you expensive special SNES controllers when they announce SNES for Switch. You can count on it
Re: Play Nintendo Switch Online Games In Style With These Official Wireless NES Controllers
@Ryu_Niiyama
Dongle?!? Do your research! They work natively like a charm. And they have more buttons and therefore work with more games.
And also, I can just buy a single one if I do not need two controllers. It's always nice with some options.
Re: Play Nintendo Switch Online Games In Style With These Official Wireless NES Controllers
@penfold007
Re: Rumour: Cloud Saves Will Be Supported On All Existing Switch Games By Default
@saintayu
Why? The statement isn't wrong.
People should still not be upset about rumors, just as they shouldn't be to confident or exited about this new rumor as well.
Re: Rumour: Cloud Saves Will Be Supported On All Existing Switch Games By Default
@beazlen1
I would guess that you could just turn "Auto Sync" off, and just do it manually instead? Similar to how it works on PS4?
Re: Rumour: Cloud Saves Will Be Supported On All Existing Switch Games By Default
@Moroboshi876
Re: Rumour: Cloud Saves Will Be Supported On All Existing Switch Games By Default
@Moroboshi876
Yes.
Cloud saves work differently than a simple highscore. It's actual save data. This is always saved locally on your current playing device, the way normal saves also works now, and then synced to the cloud later.
Re: Rumour: Cloud Saves Will Be Supported On All Existing Switch Games By Default
@Moroboshi876
Do you live under a rock?
Like all cloud saves and services like that, it syncs to local storage when it can, and there is a internet connection. I can't see how this could be a problem?!?
If your Switch isn't online very often, then you can't use cloud saves that much. But I can't see why you can't bring it online a couple of times doing a week to let it sync your saves. Then backup saves can't be so important for you?
Re: Feature: Creating A New Generation Of Indie Gems With YoYo Games' GameMaker Studio 2
@Realnoize
Re: Head Of Abstraction Games Addresses Technical Performance Of The Switch
Who cares about all this?
Re: Review: Bud Spencer & Terence Hill - Slaps and Beans (Switch eShop)
They were huge in Germany and most of central Europe. In Denmark were i live, they were big as well, but not as big as in Germany.
I used to watch all their films on German television with my father when I was a kid back in the eighties. The German voice overs for Bud Spencer and Terence Hill were amazing. I enjoy these movies the most, when I watch them in German language today
Re: Talking Point: Should Nintendo Keep Releasing DLC For Mario Kart 8 Deluxe?
Re: Switch Isn't The Right Platform For Yakuza, Says Series Producer
Re: Rumour: Google Is Creating A Gaming Platform To Rival Switch, PS4 and Xbox
@JayJ
You reason 1, 2 and 3 doesn't really apply in the country I live in.
Re: Ubisoft CEO Believes Future Of Games Industry Is Streaming, With Potential To Reach 5 Billion Players In Ten Years

You really think that comments here on a Nintendo site tells anything about what the generel gaming consumer wants?

Re: Exploring The Legalities Of Sony's Fortnite Restrictions On Nintendo Switch
@Pazuzu666
What Sony is doing here, is non ethical consumer behavior!
And Sony is misusing it's market leading position, to block competitors. Not very ethical either!
Re: Exploring The Legalities Of Sony's Fortnite Restrictions On Nintendo Switch
@Crono1973
Re: Sony's Share Value Takes A Hit Following Fortnite Account Woes On Nintendo Switch
This is a lot of CUPCAKES from Sony.
Re: Zelda-Inspired Action RPG Songbringer Brings Top-Down Adventure To Switch Next Week
@AcesHigh
Let the market decide all that.
Re: Zelda-Inspired Action RPG Songbringer Brings Top-Down Adventure To Switch Next Week
@marandahir
@Oat
Re: Wolfenstein II Switch File Size Revealed, And It's Much Bigger Than We Were Originally Told
@Hyrule @bratzdoll
Re: Reaction: What are Your Thoughts on Nintendo Switch Online?
@thesilverbrick
Re: Reaction: What are Your Thoughts on Nintendo Switch Online?
@sleepinglion
I don't think you stream those games. Probably download them, and perhaps there is a license check every month or so, or every time you go online. That way you can take them with you, when your offline.
Nintendo is not into streaming at all. Way to conservative for that. This is my guess.
