Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Now Open To All Paid NSO Members In The UK

But will the have the stock to get them to arrive on lunch day…… that’s the big question! Am hoping mine comes day from EE. EE have always been bang on time with deliveries in the past so now it’s 28 days of crossing fingers and co….and everything

@BaldB3lper78 Got mine pre-ordered for Smyths so keeping my fingers crossed too, the fact they've all seemingly came back in to stock at times since I'd be hoping that all early pre-orders are fulfilled.

The Mario Kart bundle out of stock already for anyone looking.

If it lasted 10 minutes that's 9 minutes longer than the US pre-orders last week at Target and Best Buy. 😝

And the "no invite needed" subheader seems kind of redundant if you need to be a current paying NO subscriber.🤑

I got my US console from Walmart, should arrive on release day. If possible, I may try getting a second with my invite (assuming I get one) for my sister and her kids.

(US) so glad i managed to get one in at my local GameStop because online pre-orders have been a disaster lol. Waiting for mynintendo invite tomorrow to buy my GameCube controller and I'm set for launch day.

there been rumors of switch 2 restocks coming for retailers again before release date crosses fingers for gamestop to get a much bigger stock then they had during the preorder date which wasnt enough for everyone.

Hopefully more genuine gamers got their consoles rather than scalping scumbags!

I am in the US, so hoping for my invite tomorrow. Did they do invites in the UK or just open it straight away to all paid members?

I think Curry's still have stock in most stores (can't pre-order online) Pre ordered my Mario Kart bundle from there a couple of weeks ago

Can you choose just to buy accessories from Nintendo ( especially the GameCube controller ) if you already got a preorder elsewhere.

@LavaTwilight Have my preorder with Currys. Helped I had £120 worth of Currys vouchers obtained from Microsoft reward points. Had to add each £10 individually which went down well.... Got release booked off work and fingers firmly crossed.

Lol What a mess already pre-ordered from a scalper on eBay had no chance getting one anywhere.

@rjejr Redundant or contradictory? Either way, they just mean that you didn't need a pre-order lottery email invite from Nintendo in order to make the purchase.

Still plenty for European residents outside UK! Just preordered mine (€110 cheaper than my Danish retail preorder).

@Sylamp @J-Biz Thanks for the info. I guess I remember now that the May 8 date was NOA-specific. Knowing that they did invites and then were able to open it up in the UK gives me hope that maybe there will be enough that I get an invite. But, then again, who knows what these supply situation is like in the US…

Honestly, I’m over the Switch 2. I won’t be buying one at all now, I wanted one but this demand is putting me off buying one completely. I will get an Xbox instead, you lost my money Nintendo.

It looks like the EU version is still available on My Nintendo Store, only the version with UK power blug is unavailable. So most of the Europe should be fine for now.

I believed them when they said there would be enough Switch 2s for everyone at launch! Possibly selling more/faster than they predicted! No such luck so far!

I got my invite April 8th so I'm good.

But I thought the Switch 2 was far too expensive and there was going to be a massive consumer backlash against it. At least that was what those YouTubers led me to believe.

I got invited on the first day and put my order in for the bundle then. Hopefully that means I’m guaranteed to receive it!

This is just 7 million or so diehards worldwide. Sales of this overpriced garbage will drop off a cliff and Nintendo will have more returns than sales by Christmas. Everyone knows Nintendo underperforms during the holidays. I predict sales of NEGATIVE 28,000 consoles by Black Friday. God help you if you can't read sarcasm this thick.
