Where To Buy Bayonetta 3 On Switch

I love that the Amazon product link is the exact same one I pre-ordered this from in 2018. They don't seem to have updated the release date, though

Never pre-ordering with GAME again, they have taken my pre-orders three times and every time when release date comes around it comes up with:
Your order is being packed.
Then a day later :
Your order was cancelled.
As they have insufficient stock.

Its a pre-order, you should not be selling stock you don't have

Please let the Bayonetta fans have a better special edition pre-order experience than the Xenoblade fans did!

This has been pre-ordered since December of 2017 lol. And it was like $48.99 on Amazon back then!

The game has only been available to preorder online for several years now, but always nice to see it actually have preorders instead of generic ones.

Never understood pre-ordering, especially before reviews land.

Still need to play the first two. I wish they would drop in price a little.

Looking forward to Pre ordering the Artbook version. Also that price for Bayo 2 on Wii U? Just like to say CEX has it for £6 here in the U.K, so if you were fortunate enough to own a Wii U still in the U.K, it's cheap as chips.
I may get the Switch version of 1 and 2 when they all go physical, just for collection sake.

Give it another day or 2 and no doubt other sites will have pre-orders available. Base.com has had Bayo 3 available for pre-order since it was ANNOUNCED lol.

@RupeeClock that's the reason I noticed it. I've sat pressing F5 on that page for months awaiting the Xenoblade Collector's Edition to appear.

@Hewitt @RupeeClock Probably not long now considering xenoblades release date... But there's been known issues with the special edition for ages, annoyingly. You may be aware. Production line issues for some items is why they are splitting it up and sending the game out first, then the rest of the special edition xenoblade pack out later as a separate shipment. Poor UK. As a collector, it's all a pain tbh.

Edit: and this is all before the potential chaos of trying to nab one!

Great probably won't be able get it like Xenoblade cause freaking bots. I have both Xenoblade collectors edition and can't get new one. Really sucks

Wish they did this with Xenoblade 3 as well. But whole Nintendo Europe is under maintanace, maybe that is the reason they are still waiting? No idea anymore tbh. Just sick of waiting and its a bit more than 2 weeks until release.

Looks like NA is screwed over again....just like XenoBlade 3 SE. How would anyone in NA get a EU because I know they won't ship to NA address even if you try to.

First preorders? I’ve had mine preordered since 2018 back when Amazon offered 20% discounts for game preorders. Still have my preorder locked in at $48 USD.

@Jaguar_Wong I agree 100% that preordering is a foolish thing to do in the age of half finished full releases, but I mean you know what you're getting with Bayonetta. 2 ran like a dream and I have full faith this will be just as smooth.

How can Game justify charging £10 more than RRP? They're a shambles.

I really don't understand that special edition. why does it come with three covers, but only one game? that's totally bizarre

Looks like this is gonna be the first Platinum hack n slash I play in a long time. I haven't really dived back into the genre since the PS2 and only got a little taste of the Metal Gear spinoff on Xbox 360 as a free game on a Gold sub. I was thinking of getting Nier first but the Switch release is so close to this one and with Bayo 3 obviously the fresher experience in this genre. Planning on getting Astral Chain for quite a while now as well. I heard they are all short games so maybe I can play a couple of them this year.

For what it's worth Astral Chain and Nier are my favourite games by Platinum.

I still have 1 and 2 on disc for my dusty WiiU, I think I'll revive it for those... I'm so excited for nr. 3! It's also releasing the day after my birthday so it might be a nice gift!

So anybody wondering about the Trinity Masquerade Edition in the US? GameStop in the US was officially doing preorders for it in-store only. There was no online SKU at least yesterday when preorders first went up. I got my Trinity Masquerade Edition just yesterday at my local GameStop. As for the answer to the question, "How the Hell did GameStop get their hands on the Trinity Masquerade Edition and why did they only do preorders for it in-store only?" I can't say for certain but I think the reason for in-store preorders at only at first was to keep scalpers off of the sales. Out!

Edit: The original Bayonetta is actually getting its own, limited, physical release later this year. You might want to pick that up as well.

I was able to place an order at Best Buy and already got an email confirmation!

I have Bayo 1/2 digitally on Switch, and I saw that they're finally doing a physical release of 1 soon, but I really, really wish they'd done a physical Trilogy collection with all three titles. Maybe one day.

I've read many 9/10 reviews that provided me with information that let me know I wouldn't like a game - and many 4/10 reviews that did the opposite.

@Bunkerneath Why would you order anything through GAME anyway, let alone pre-order? Not trying to provoke, just curious. There are always accessible, better options in the UK, and their previous f**k-ups are well publicised. They should have gone under well over a decade ago.

Where is the physical edition of Bayonetta 1? Complete silence from Nintendo since they said they were aiming for the first half of October. It’s now October 24 and not a peep from them!

And the page for physical edition of the first Bayonetta went online on their store yesterday and you already can't select the physical anymore...

What a disaster this is. Nintendo really needs to get its **** together >.>

One of my retailers refused to cancel my preorder standard version so I removed my payment to block it. I don't see how hard it is to cancel a preorder that hasn't shipped or complete the order. But I removed my payment so they can't take the funds out since they refuse to allow the cancellation of the item.

I love this series (and have triple dipped the first and double dipped the second), but honestly £30 for an art book is a tad insane if you ask me

@hayface @NinjaSyao Physical of B1 were released at the same time as Bayonetta 2 on Wii U. I have it on my shelve.
Now i also have Bayonetta 3 on shelve.

It costed 25% less for physical in local store than on eShop.
Just bought it locally at El-Kjop for 45 bucks.
