I dont know where this article came from, the two devices arent really comparable in my book. I have a steam deck oled, a switch and will probably get a switch 2. I personally will still probably only play nintendo exclusives on the platform. One is a video game system the other........ is a hand held pc. This isnt even a battle.

@Mrkittyhead this review is a little harsh, I played this game earlier in the year after playing yakuza 0 and I personally would of rated it much higher if we arent talking about technical hang ups

This game reviewed higher then starwars outlaws and also cost significantly less to develop. Maybe make games that are fun and cheaper instead of games that kind of suck and cost 200 million dollars + and half a decade to a decade to make?

I feel like the tone shift is what caused engage to not sell as well. Also when incorporating past characters into the fold as hard as engage did it makes the narrative feel like a off shoot, almost like its not a cannon story even in a place where cannon isnt a thing. There are a million reasons why engage didnt sell as well as three houses. Fire emblem is a srpg series and I do not think that should be taken away, social sim aspect or not.

I think it was criminal that this wasn't a nominated for anything at the game awards. This was my personal rpg of the year.

such a bummer loop 8 wasnt good, I remember it was pretty high on my list for games to buy before reviews started to roll out.

I was excited for this game and still am but boy oh boy did chained echoes set a very high. I almost wonder if chained echoes being so well received and impressive is what caused this game to be pushed back a bit.

i feel like the price tag is completely justifiable considering the work that went into this and also to show that people care about jrpg preservation. If we dont want these games to disappear forever then we need to support them.

@johnedwin already did that for the xenosaga trilogy last year….. bought the ps2 and all three games and I think I’m good on making that a habit

We better get the port of Lunar 2 on the US version. There are currently no ways to play it.

Definitely rounded out my SMT collection this time around. Bought a used 2ds during their last sale for this purpose alone. The 100 dollars was made up for immediately with eshop discounted purchases. Finally playing strange journey.
