I know it has been said here, but the lack of a sale price is frustrating. I've had them on my wishlist for years, but I'm not play $60 for last gen games.
@Hero-of-WiiU I'm holding off on the upgrade until F-Zero X is released. There are other interesting games available, like Majora, but they will still be there when I get there. Because the service doesn't remove any games (yet) there is little motivation to jump in early. It isn't like the XBox Game Pass where games may be available for a limited time.
@RareFan That is interesting. I only vaguely remember it in the U.S. The name was more memorable than anything about the show. I agree, the game does look promising.
I love my Switch, but it collected dust for months once I picked up GamePass. I'm playing my Switch again now, but I am hesitant to buy many games. The Switch has been leaning too hard on remasters like BioShock that are then available on GamePass. Indie games are low cost and worth picking up, but the mid to high-tier games are not as appealing anymore.
Sold out again. I feel like RingFit is going to be one of those devices that years from now we'll be talked about as if it was a big deal, but no one owned because they were never available. What is the point of promoting it, if they haven't been able to keep stock from day 1. It isn't new at this point.
The pixel art is disappointing. I love the concept and basic gameplay mechanics, but the sprites were a mess at times during the trailer. With as fast as it plays, I can see that being a real distraction.
I was stuck in the lobby for nearly 15 minutes waiting for my first match. Once I finally got in I was unimpressed. The combat mechanics devolve into button mashing quickly. When several users are in the same area it is difficult to determine what is going on during a fight. I finished first in my (only) match, despite having little clue what was happening the entire time. That shouldn't happen.
I know there are a lot of comparisons being made to Splatoon, but that would be a positive, given the actual gameplay. Unlike Splatoon, the matches drag on. I kept checking the clock and could not believe how much time was still left. There are also didn't seem to be the right number of players for the size of the board. I could easily hide out without worry of being attacked.
Maybe I'll pick it up again at some point, but between the uninspired game play and terrible load times, I'll most likely pass.
Rekt is amazing. I had gotten it before the Christmas sale, but I don't regret the purchase at all. I thought it was basically a minigame, then realized I had sunk nearly 15 hours into it.
Wouldn't it make more sense to just sell the card without the case. It would cut down on packaging and shipping, while giving those who want a physical copy the card they want.
I needed a story-driven distraction so I finally picked up Astral Chain. It has been a big deviation from my normal gaming style, but I'm enjoying it so far.
So excited to try these games. I'm glad that they have been offering more oddball titles lately. I don't need the same 40 titles on every platform. These are games that are not in my collection and I'm happy to check them out.
A game that requires controllers @jayofmaya, yes that is shocking. Everyone has joycons. Look the guy in the trailer has them coming out of his pockets!
The lack of EA titles presents a large gap in my gaming library. They are probably one of the only reasons I would consider getting a different system, but I really have no need for two. Now that we've seen several high graphic games port over the excuses for EA's absence are dwindling.
I was hoping to say Luigi's Mansion, but my motivation to finish the game has waned recently. I've gotten back into Smash and have been playing Rekt with my daughter quite a bit. I'm also hoping to work on No More Heroes:Travis Strikes Again, as I grabbed it on sale after Thanksgiving. Happy gaming everyone!
This game had some not so evident puzzle solutions. The guide was helpful for the sticky points without being necessary for most of the game play. Thanks.
Interest in the game is waning for me for sure. It still fun to play with friends online, but grinding through these events is no longer appealing, especially with the long list of new titles constantly coming out.

Re: Nintendo Wants To Know What Switch "Groups" You've Created Since The Latest Firmware Update
I only keep a handful installed at any one time. This limits the value of the folders since the games are not really there.
Re: Redout 2 Overview Trailer Brings Plenty Of F-Zero Vibes
The game play looks exciting, but the narrator is doing everything he can to make it sound as dull as possible.
