Re: Video: The Future Of Gaming Is Joy-Con Drift-Free

Doktor-Mandrake

I've not had drift but my switch is secondary console mostly as handheld and hasn't had too much of use over the years, but still do play on it from time to time

I've never been a fan of how they feel on my thumbs, very small and finicky things

Not tried third party ones yet but I wish nintendo could do a dpad on l-joycon, I tried that tabletop mode like twice and never again

Re: Review: Resident Evil Origins Collection - Old-School Survival Horror Stands Up On Switch

Doktor-Mandrake

@NeonPizza I still have a huge soft spot for them, especially re1 remake on gamecube that I still consider the pinnacle of RE.

I'd love a modern RE take on that classic style, I've yet to play it but Tornmented Souls got very good reviews all around (it's on switch too I believe)

Gotta praise capcom there though, before RE7 the survival horror genre looked pretty dead in the water but they've kept it alive and I honestly think without Capcom smashing it in survival horror Konami wouldn't of considered revisiting Silient Hill. RE3 Remake I was kinda disappointed but was still a good experience

... but re2 remake defo up.there for me as one of the best RE games of all time.. that too had cut content ect but that remake was just perfection

Hyped asf for re4.. might try village soon especially now the 3rd person mode is out!

@NeonPizza
I've got re0 on pc as well just wanted switch mostly for on the go and to also for my collection but I hate physical releases that feel incomplete

Cuphead physically will probably be my next big purchase, again I own on pc (and dlc) but I just love to collect physical on my switch and the cuphead one looks way better then anything lrg has put out

Loading times very short on pc, its been a long time since I've played the old FCA tank control RE though, I'll admit I do love RE2 remake for having no loading doors and a very seamless experience.. plus Mr.X lol

Re: Poll: What's The Best Star Fox Game?

Doktor-Mandrake

@mereel Adventure didn't even start off as a star fox game lol it was called dinosaur planet or something like that

It was Nintendo that wanted to turn it into a Star Fox game... not Rareware so maybe shift ur blame and hate towards nintendo for star fox adventure

Re: Random: Here's Steam Deck Running The GameCube And Wii Emulator Dolphin

Doktor-Mandrake

@nocdaes Nintendo I don't think will do it officially ever again, they only care to offer their classics as a subscription service though I'd love to see more physical collections like the Mario 3D all-stars

Also this more of a bonus, don't know why someone would buy this purely for emulation alone when it can run modern AAA titles. PC gamers are the core focus here.
