Fresh from its E3 announcement, the hottest game in the world finally arrives on Switch in a move that should surprise absolutely nobody, and not just because E3 2018 was leakier than dear Liza’s bucket. The question is: how does the Switch version stack up?
For the cave dwelling, island castaways among you, Fortnite is a free-to-play, third-person, last-man-standing shooter; or rather, it is now. Epic Games hastily assembled the 100-player Battle Royale scenario after eyeing the incredible popularity of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. BR mode, plus an attractive free-to-play business model, didn’t revitalise the struggling game so much as inject rocket fuel into its eyeballs, and Fortnite has been eating PUBG’s lunch ever since.
So, one hundred players parachute onto a large island and scramble to find weapons and resources. An approaching storm funnels them together over time, forcing survivors to duke it out until there’s only one left. Various modes are currently available, and others have previously appeared for a limited time. Solo, Duo, Squad, 50v50 and Sniper Solo/Duo all do exactly what you’d expect.

The building mechanic from the original game does offer something distinctly different from the competition. Players collect materials and use them to assemble structures on-the-fly from predetermined wall, floor and ramp elements. These are used to scale vertical terrain, build sniper towers and construct makeshift cover when under fire. Seasoned players are able to build these glowing structures with intimidating alacrity, knocking together an impressive fort in a mere matter of seconds.
New players may find their initial matches overwhelming. You spawn onto an atoll off the main island as you wait for the player count to reach 100-ish. It’s a safe, no-risk space to experiment with controls and weapons, but thanks to the packed servers you’ll rarely spend more than 20 seconds here and our first matches consisted of frantically deciphering the UI and controls while being shot at. You’ll pick up the standard third-person controls quickly, but the building mechanic adds a layer of UI detail which takes a little time to suss out. Notably absent from this version is the original Save the World mode. Regardless of relative popularity, the original mode provided an introduction to the controls and mechanics which got complete noobs into the swing of things. The Battle Royale variant drops you into the thick of it in a very literal sense, so it's a shame the mode which started it all hasn't made the cut.

Emotes, a chat wheel and an inventory menu are assigned to the D-buttons. ‘L’ and ‘R’ cycle through the gear in your five-slot inventory, including weapons, medkits and armour tonics. ‘A’ switches from inventory to build mode. Prefab pieces are projected in front of you, snapping to an invisible grid and materialising with a pull of the ‘ZR’ trigger. Provided you’ve got the necessary materials, ramps and bridges can be thrown together as fast as you can sprint across them. However, they advertise your presence on the map, so you’ll need to be as confident in your combat abilities as you are in your construction talents.
While we here at Nintendo Life are certainly not novices to shooters, we quickly realised just how much we’ve grown accustomed to motion-assisted aiming in the likes of Splatoon, DOOM and Breath of the Wild. That extra precision has become second nature and its absence here feels like a massive handicap. Of course, we lived without it for years – and some people still prefer to leave it deactivated – but our first few rounds highlighted just how thoroughly we’ve assimilated the advancement. Please patch, Epic Games.
Teaming up with friends on the main menu is relatively painless; simply select them, wait for them to finish the match they’re in and join your party, then jump into whatever mode you fancy. Cross-platform voice chat has been added via a patch and it shuns Switch’s app and cable nightmare. At the time of review, we were unable to test it, but reports suggest it works as expected and if we hear (no pun intended) any different we'll be sure to update this review. It’s pleasing to see Epic rubbish the idea that this wasn’t technically possible and challenge Nintendo’s laughably convoluted take on an industry-standard feature; hopefully, other games will follow.

Even without voice chat, headphones are a good idea as sound plays an important gameplay role. Movement creates a lot of noise, so you’ll be relying on audio clues as other players traverse the silent map. The island itself offers plenty of variety and the day-night cycle makes it refreshingly colourful. A single map has enabled Epic to focus on refinement since release, but further locations would be welcome as the game evolves. At the time of writing, Fortnite on Switch is a slim 2GB download, so there's certainly wiggle room there.
There’s a good chance you’ve sampled the game on another platform in the year since its release (and if you’ve ever touched the PS4 version, you’ll have to contend with Sony-imposed restrictions on transferring your progress to Switch). We’ll leave the pixel counting and LOD comparisons to our friends over at Digital Foundry, but the takeaway is that Fortnite on Switch is a pleasant gameplay experience. Loading screens are brief, framerate appears to stick to a pretty solid 30 and everything looks fine.
Yes, you’ll need to look elsewhere if anything less than 60fps brings you out in hives, but performance is perfectly acceptable, given the well-defined limitations of the platform. In motion, character models seem to lose detail – doing the dance emote on the main menu provides a decent example – but in-game it’s less noticeable. Lower resolution means pixel shimmer is more obvious through scopes, so elite snipers may have a harder time on Switch. Handheld mode delivers a slightly softer presentation on the smaller screen, but the cartoon style helps paper over resolution deficiencies. It’s attractive in a chunky way and the Dreamworks-meets-Looney Tunes aesthetic feels relatively coherent, despite the hodgepodge of design influences.

A delayed launch means Switch owners benefit from the multitude of gameplay and UI tweaks rolled out since the game’s release – and they also experience the full force of the slick microtransaction machine Epic has engineered. A plethora of cosmetic options are available, from daily deals to special packs including XP bonuses, icons, emotes and more. XP accumulates through ordinary play and your tier levels-up, periodically unlocking free treats. Completing specific Daily Challenges also nets you points. Alongside the drip-feed of free unlockables, you’re also shown what you would have unlocked if you’d bought a Battle Pass – purchasing said season pass immediately unlocks those accumulated goodies. A pass costs 950 V-Bucks (1000 V-Bucks cost around £8/€10/$10) and it’s possible to pay more to skip tiers and gain instant access to rewards ordinarily unlocked via XP from matches. Again, it’s all cosmetic (as the game takes pains to remind you) but if you’re a sucker for accessorising, you’re going to be nickel-and-dimed for the sweetest swag.
Conclusion
Let’s face it – this is probably sitting on your Switch dashboard already, and there it should stay. Epic has delivered the full fat Fortnite: Battle Royale experience on the ‘homeheld’. The omission of Save the World is disappointing, and you’re sure to notice the framerate difference if you’re coming from other consoles, but performance-wise, it’s steady and perfectly playable. There’s room for improvement – motion-assisted aiming should be top of the patch list – but ultimately, that just-one-more feeling survives the transition intact. Before you know it, you’ll be eyeing the clock at 3:56 am thinking ‘hmm, that’s not a round number’. The heart-pounding suspense of making it to the final two may not be healthy, but it sure is addictive.

I've played a little bit and it's pretty fun but it would be infinitely more fun and playable for me if they added gyro aiming. Stick aiming just feels so clunky and impossible to me. Feels a bit lazy when developers port shooters over to the Switch without adding gyro support. If it wasn't free then it would have been enough to keep me from buying it.
I'm just gonna get this out and say what I think about fortnite. It's MEH. I just don't get the hype for this game.
Before you try telling me I'm wrong, it's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
@Dizzy_Boy I'm with you man, this game is pretty Meh.
@Dizzy_Boy
same here - it is very slow paced and without gyro controls - it is clunky. Doom became so much better after adding gyro - but in contrast to Fortnite it has always been fast.
I think Fortnite is already deleted on my system or is going to be.
I managed to avoid the BR craze until now. I can see why its so popular. Got a battle pass and am already caught up in the weekly challenges.
@BenAV i need motion controls too
Really enjoying it so far, I wasn't sure what I was going to think of it but after a few rounds I soon got to grips with it and started to understand why it's become so popular. It can be unbelievably tense at times. I know already I'm going to get countless hours out of it. I've just got to resist the lure of loot.
Fortnite is just not my game. I think I would really enjoy it if I invested time in it, but I'm very busy with other games. Plus, Fortnite can be very frustrating at some times. Might pick it up on Switch, but on PC with friends, it just wasn't my thing.
I had arguments with fellow game developers calling this game JUNK no matter what, they just eat their heart out for its popularity, and admittedly refuse to understand how it works because they just hate it.
Once you start to think rationally, Fortnite is just a very good game and fun to play if you are into this kind of action. I decided to give it a try for the first time and got to say I like it quite much. Playing in team with my little brother has been best part of it.
@bolt05 @Dizzy_Boy Count Meh in too.
Are the retail versions on other platforms spared from microtransactions?
Why are they retailing for AU$90 while this is free?
@RETRO_J If you ever fancy playing together let me know. We also have plans for a regular FORTNITE games night over on the Adult Switch Gamers thread on NL Forum. Plus, we have a Discord server set-up which we are just starting to all join up to and chat. We've got World Cup score prediction games going on and World Fantasy Football leagues, so the Discord is a great hangout not just for the specific Game Nights.
Hopefully, see you over there.
@Silly_G Ah its free to play across all platforms. Only the "save the world" PVE add-on is paid for currently on platforms other than Switch, this add-on is not available on switch.
@bolt05 : But what differentiates the free version from the retail version?
It's pretty good, I might get bored with it but at least it's free.
It's just a shame that everyone I know who plays it does so on PS4, so it would be nice if Sony fixed that
@Silly_G I edited my post above, there is no retail version. You can DL free on PC right now. Everything that is paid for in the game is just for cosmetics or to earn more cosmetics as rewards, no other difference. There really aren't 'versions' just paying for pixels.
I just realised EBGames is selling discs. This is for people who cant download it for some strange reason since its online only anyway. Dont buy it. Its exactly the same free game.
I’m really enjoying it so far.
I think it really is what you make of it. I like playing it stealthily and using the land for cover. I feel if you went in guns blazing and got killed in the first couple of minutes every round it would get boring quickly.
I can understand the hype.
A free game which does microtansactions right.
I tried the game the day it was released and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. It's easy to understand, fun to play and the feeling of danger whenever you hear footsteps or gunshots is something that no other game on the Switch can offer. I don't think it's a masterpiece or anything, but I understand its popularity and I'm happy that I can have have such a well known game on my platform of choice. That being said, I hope Epic will polish the graphics a little bit and adds motion controls. Right now, it feels like the game is in a beta version on the Switch tbh.
I’m having fun with it but gosh I’m bad. Top place I come so far is 13
Those screenshots are pretty, but none of them show actual gameplay. Would be better in a review to actually show the game being played.
It's not sitting on my dashboard, it's just not my thing and I've played 100 games that basically do what this and all Battle Royale games do, albeit on a smaller map.
I gave it a go on the Switch the other day and I thought it was alright. You'd probably need to play with friends though. There can be long stretches in matches where nothing exciting is happening around you.
"hmm, that’s not a round number" the best phrase in the review.
Been there buddy.
Crazy how pretty it looks (not the biggest fan of the art direction, but the quality of visuals translated to Switch, even in handheld mode is crazy great).
Does Fortnite on PC allow mouse aiming? If yes then I guess Gyro aiming should be added to compete with mouse users, but if no the don't expect Gyro.
If you're not into the concept of Battle Royale I don't know why you're even reading this.
I'm loving this game. First time playing it. It's very overwhelming at first, but addictive! It looks and runs pretty well on Switch. I really, really hope they will add gyro controls soon, though! I just can't get used to this after playing a lot of Splatoon 2 and DOOM.
I tried it last night. I think I had fun with the 1 round I played but I got caught in the storm and couldn't get out. Probably should learn to play before I actually play the game.
I downloaded Fort-Night when it was released and I was having a grand old time exploring the world, not unlike I do in Breath of the Wild. I was taking in the sights of an old abandoned farm house when out of no where someone shot me! I thought it was a fluke, so I played again, exploring a forest this time, looking at all the trees and mushrooms on the ground (again, just like Breath of the Wild, so peaceful!) when someone else came up behind me and without provocation, murdered me with a pickaxe! I keep reporting these players to Epic, but it keeps happening and I'm not sure why.
@Dizzy_Boy
I agree entirely. I've not even downloaded it on my switch. Overhyped meh
I've played a lot of Fortnite on PS4 & Xbox One and loved it. I jumped into the Switch version expecting it to be rubbish but it isn't. Well at least in docked mode.
In handheld, enemies in the distance are running at about 5fps and very hard to hit with an unscoped assault rifle and distant detail is hit or miss. So handheld isn't the best experience.
So that leaves docked mode but I have a PS4 Pro for that, with higher resolution & frame rate.
If the Switch was my only console, I'd be as happy as a Llama and loving every minute of it.
A great port of a very fun game.
Hopefully pubg next
@BensonUii Staffing is key to this game. It also seems to have a touch of auto aim assistance too.
@Dizzy_Boy I also think meh
It's not a game you can play once and decide it's no good. The game requires investment to learn the mechanics. If you don't have time to learn the basics the game will never be fun. That being said, I do find the whole Battle Royale thing a bit tiring. Maybe I'm too old but I prefer the old PC shooters like unreal tournament to these new shooters.
Reading through the comments here, Fornite is deffinitly one of those games that you either like it or you don't.
I got used to playing Black Ops 2 on the WiiU, the maps were alot smaller, so you were never too far away from running into someone from the other team. With fortnite, as someone else mention, you run around loads without much to do. I've played a few rounds, so it's not like I haven't given the game a fair chance because I have.
It's not like it'll be a wasted dowload, my nephews seem to love the game, so I'm sure it'll get played alot when they come over.
Played it for about half an hour and deleted it. I don't know, it feels kinda slow and clunky and the fact it hasn't motion aiming, doesn't help it either. 😕
I like the term, “homeheld”.
I agree with others, I think if you take the time to learn the mechanics the game rewards you. Like all games I guess.
For me, having a free game is great and it’s fun enough. I’m looking forward to becoming a bit more fluent has I’m being pwnd on the regular.
Waited for switch release to finally play it. Not my type of game but still enjoyed the few matches I played. Already archived.
Got a bit bored. Fired on another user, head shots galore with 5 different guns, and they barely lost any health. But I can see the appeal if your character's jacked.
"...E3 2018 was leakier than dear Liza’s bucket."
It's Henry's bucket. Just saying.
Love it. I wish they could remake Socom 2 for the switch after seeing how well this plays.
I guess I'm one of the cave-dwelling, island castaways. I didn't know what this was. The title isn't particularly descriptive.
Played a few rounds (at a silky 60fps btw) on the xbox what seems like years ago.
Not my thing.
Pretty hilarious though that they cut out the Save the World mode.
I will give Fortnite a try this weekend. Never played it which I'm glad since I orginally downloaded the PS4 version. Heard the bad news about Sony not wanting to play nice with other and deleted it. I wish there was a way to limit the amount of players to just my family members. Would be neat to play with just my family, over the multiple devices we have in the home (Xbox One, Switch, PC desktops and laptops and android/iphone mobile/tablet devices).
I thought I would be the only one on here saying this but as I read some of the above comments its clear I'm not the only one that thinks this game is kinda lame . I mean it is definitely way over hyped and thats putting it mildly I deleted it from my Switch today and felt like I wasted three hours of my gaming time that could have been spent playing one of the many great games available on Switch, this game feels like it belongs on a phone not a console to me. I tried to like it, I did but I really really don't, maybe I was expecting greatness because of the over hype . It is kind of a free game there is that which I am very glad for because if I would have paid for this I would have been very deeply disappointed.
I was more excited at first - the more you play as handheld the more "the well-defined limitations of the platform" start to pop up.
Basically if you coming from PC, you will see and feel the difference. Better than the iPhone - BUT - you loose the dedicated mobile network. Trying to play this over my Hotel's network was a disaster.
If you coming from PC you can jump back and play the real one when at home - so less of an issue.
I'll keep it for when I spend weekends at my Sister's house. I can play with my nephew in the same room. Really the only reason I care about it.
@Painkiller_Mike Yeah!... or when you visit a family member and you can join in with your Switch.
The screenshots make it look closer to the mobile version than console. Is this the case?
I like it. I can see why it wouldn't be for everyone, as always.
It would be infinitely better with gyro aiming. It needs that stuff.
What I know about this game: all the kids seem to love it.
Had so much fun with this. I didn't figure out how to run for the full first day though 🤣
i hope they consider adding the story mode into the switch version.
otherwise, i'll just play the pc version for it.
I'm enjoying this game so far and I'm not even one of the folks buying into the hype as I expected it to disappoint, so far it did not. For those who didn't enjoy it, either you don't have any friends or this may not be for you, it's okay though cause you can go play something else.
Funny that all the kids these days play Fortnite and the adults play Pokemon.
@Royalblues Considering it's only 30fps, has no gyro controls and doesn't include Save the World, a 8/10 is pretty generous if you ask me.
@Peach64 Nope. I've been playing this game on my Switch and iPhone in the past few days, and the Switch version looks heaps better.
Gyro support would be cool, but they’d need to also corral all gyro switch players together in their own league because it wouldn’t be fair against other consoles like Xbox One or iOS players in the cross-play matches.
Also, I think this game deserves a 9/10. Seeing what NintendoLife gives 8/10 on, i think we can’t agree this is a cut above those games. It think it’s optimized really well for Switch
I'm enjoying this a lot. I jumped into my first solo battle royale last night and won
Obviously, Fortnite is not for everyone. My son plays it, and it is his favorite game on the Xbox. I downloaded it on the Switch, and I've played a few rounds. I can certainly see how it sucks you in.
The fun of the game really ramps up if you are still in it as the circle shrinks. I finished second in squad, and it was just me versus another squad with two left. The cat and mouse was pretty fun.
Also, it is a great spectator game. I'm not sure if anyone had an opportunity to watch the E3 Pro Am, but it was a fun watch.
Whoever coined 'homeheld' is a genius.
@fortius54 pretty much identical story to my own. Son plays on Xbox, always gathered it would be a solid game mechanically but the aesthetics and surrounding media image put me off a bit.
Grabbed it on Switch, had a blast in the few rounds I've played. As always, gameplay is king!
Anybody else notices it has been two full days since their release date, yet Crazy justice is nowhere to be seen?
Edit: Just looked at their page and found this:
http://twitter.com/CrazyJusticeFP/status/1006772200362438656
It’s a fun game to play but I do not see the lasting appeal. I feel like a beta tester more then I am actually playing a full game.
@Nintendoforlife I did, I was looking forward to this because it seems like a full game that was polished a bit more then fortnite.
@BenAV gyro could give an unfair advantage over xbox, again, PC have mouse controls, so it's not impossible !
Yeah, I don't see this game passing 5/10. For a shooter it's highly sub-par, the fact that its primary game mode is utterly mundane notwithstanding.
I suck too much at that game. My only chance to rank high is to hide and wait and then I get sniped from behind at the end. Also it can be kind of boring.
So many people jumping on the hate bandwagon just because it's popular and kids play it..
Never had an interest, and I still don't.
The craze will be over in a few years.
@zip
Even if you are really skilled Battle Royale games are inherently very luck based, the probability of winning is very low even if you are skilled based on the format of the game. To some that is part of the fun and a reason to not get upset when you lose, to others it's very annoying that luck plays such a heavy role in success.
It's because the game is so luck based that there is a meme about how "nobody cares about your PUBG/Fortnite wins".
@EverythingAmiibo
It's not that Battle Royale is inherently bad, it's just that people are tired of seeing it everywhere and it being shoved into everything because of how successful it is. They are annoyed by the Battle Royale bandwagon itself. It's like how people were annoyed by the motion control and appeal to the non gaming casuals bandwagon after the success of the Wii.
Given, Fortnite is an original Battle Royale game and not someone converting or adding Battle Royale to another series.
Not my cup of tea but I'm very excited that the Switch is getting games like this.
@Syntaxkita
whahahaha
Performance and draw distance is surely lacking but still pretty fun overall.
There is a mention of cross platform play with Xbone. How does this work?
When I’m in the lobby I see in greyed font something like Fortnite: EU, Fill With: Same platform, Play Against: Same Platform
I thought these referred to playing with other consoles but can’t find any way to change this.
My son plays fornight on his Xbone and it would be good to team up across platforms.
I tried to like it, but it is so boring... I don't get the hype.
i understand the hype if it looked realistic, but this game is looking dull and heavy outdated. like you playing "free to download" multiplayer JEWELS from the internet.
I just can't play it. the satisfaction i get in my 35 years that i game, is progress in gaming. i realy enjoyed to be part of a community that brought up from pacman till ultra realistic graphics, gameplay, even voiceacting.
fornite experience, is like playing on a 2001 pentium pc.
i hope this fortnite hype will be over soon, before the whole gamingindustry focus itself on this crap rather to spend money on new and beatifull projects(cough valve)
as example, its a sad situation that just a few weeks after launching the millions of dollars project God of war, wich have been worked on for years, it already falls down the twitch chart.
My time is too limited and my backlog too large. Had 1 game, and the storm killed me even while I seemed to be inside.
Personally I'll rather play Splatoon, unless I can play this with a bunch of friends.
@Dizzy_Boy I’m with you. I’ll still going to play it for time to time. For sure I’m not their audience and there’s no way I’ll pay for anything they can offer. Gyro siaiming will be a great plus though won’t change my perception of the game.
@JSG87 You can run? Was so busy trying to jump. Was easy, just press that button. Was so worried trying to stay alive I hit button panic. 🤣
@PALversusNTSC it is in fact an amazing marketing/targeting success. As a game, not that bright/mind blowing at all.
@Gunit1099 As you mentioned, PC have mouse controls so it really shouldn't be an issue. 99% of Xbox players probably wouldn't turn motion controls on anyway if given the option so I doubt many of them will be complaining.
I'll pass. 100 or even 50 player battle royales sound lame, while it's lacking in other game options, and please keep that building crud out of my shooters.
Can you get additional skins without having to pay for it? I hate the stupid noob skins at the beginning.
I'm hoping Realm Royale can come soon, though it is just in Alpha on PC. I vastly prefer the class and ability system over the building system.
I like it. Have played hours on the PS4 Pro so now playing it on the switch and it's fun. Only issue is the people you play with when it comes to squads. Obviously most of the people haven't played before which is understandable if they don't own any other console, so need proper players who will play and stick to the squad instead of running off somewhere else etc.
I've just found out (perhaps I've been living under a rock) but this game is a free download?
If so what's the catch? can anyone answer this, please.
@BenAV hey how you comment?
I enjoy the gameplay and had some nice action, but I am lost on the confusing main menu. I can't even select the character I want. And sometimes I do not know if I shoot an ally or enemy because I can't see a difference. If they shoot me I shoot back.
I hope they add motion controls, not having them is the games biggest flaw.
Also, I wasn't able to scroll down the ingame updates list and am pretty sure it's a bug.
Trying this again after an update, Fallout Shelter on the other hand, is absolutely addicting.
It's fun in a mindless sense, and I can understand the popularity, but I just think Fortnite is a straight down the middle 5/10 for me. That's mostly down to random elements and the awful building controls (I've played for around 10 hours on 3 separate platforms and they still don't feel right for me), but I also really despise the lacklustre combat. There's nothing really there (other than building) which makes it stand out, and I just get bored quickly.
I do like the art style and world design though. Oh, and it's free, so my complaints aren't much of an issue.
Fart Night is here and it's a real gas!
Just an FYI: PS4 wireless headsets (and I assume any other wireless non-bluetooth headset) work with voice chat when the game is in docked mode.
So you don't need to buy a crazy long wire or some other ridiculous solution to have voice chat when you're playing in your living room.
@Pj1 No catch. Download and enjoy. There are crazy expensive cosmetics and a battle pass that has different cosmetic unlocks, but none of these effect the game at all. You can play and get good without spending a penny and people that have spent $1000 on the game won't have any advantage over you.
Eh, if I wanted to play it I wouldn't be downloading it on the Switch.
Mouse or bust.
At least it's good to see Nintendo isn't requiring 3rd parties to use their convoluted 3 way with a smartphone to achieve standard voice chat for the Switch.
Hopefully it's the standard rule and they didn't make a special exception for Fortnite just because of its popularity.
Why is this game nowhere to be seen in the eshop charts? Confused if it was downloaded 2m time during E3 that it's not there. I was never going to join the Fortnite bandwagon but I've played it and I'm having a blast with it.. the same goes for Paladins really enjoy that game also. Think gyro controls would great improve this game and I'm hoping they patch this in. Moving forward to personally think developer should just include it as an option right from the off.
@Silly_G This game was originally NOT a battle royale game. It was a paid game that had nothing to do with Battle Royale. It still has this original mode on other platforms and that has to be purchased. Battle Royale has been free from the start on all platforms. It is the only portion of this game that made its way to the Switch.
@Grawbad : I wonder whether they will ever port the full experience to Switch.
@Silly_G Not sure, but the other mode has nothing to do with the battle royale mode and the battle royale mode has nothing to do with it.
@CANCEROUS because it's a free download, it'll never appear on the eShop charts. I'd imagine it's far and away the biggest download on the Switch eShop. It would literally never leave number one on the eShop charts 😂
I didn't understand it. There's no explanation of anything. I couldn't even figure out how to change to a male avatar.
@Dizzy_Boy i totally agree.
This game is in a Charizard situation. Because so many people like it, it gets clowned on as terrible. Now that I have played it, it's not entirely BS, but it's the BOTW of the shooter games. That's Overwatch. But this game is still good. 7.5/10
Would rate this on the switch 1 star due to not being able to play. Cross platform players have such an advantage to the switch that you can't land in most places because of the ridiculous building and being killed the moment you drop. Worst platform balance by far, so shotty and half thought out that it's too much a waste of storage space to even bother
