Namco Bandai's Family Fishing — known in North America as Fishing Resort — has proven itself a keeper. Prope's fishing game reeled in this Fall
From hedgehogs to kiwis, Yuji Naka has been involved with games that star somewhat uncommon animals and his studio Prope is getting ready for the release of its upcoming Wii game that follows a similar trend: this time, it's fish. Yuji Naka's Prope studio has been responsible for some interesting Wii titles over the past few years, including Ivy the Kiwi and the upcoming Rodea the Sky Soldier. About The Game
In Fishing Resort, players are put in control of their own island vacation and free to do as they please – get up early in the morning and try to grab massive fish in the deep sea, or rent a bicycle and travel to a remote lagoon.
Players are free to fish wherever there is water, and a variety of locales are available, from tropical ocean fishing on the high sea to ice fishing atop the island’s mountains.

Been playing this a few days. Love it. Much "deeper" than you'd expect at first. An awesome addition and Wii exclusive.
This game is @ amazon. Game play is on Gamespot/Video section check it out
This is a sims stile game at hart. At its hart defiantly a Sega sole with lots to do + a 2hour learning curve that makes it easy to introduce to kids +7up. If any one in your family is into fish or the Ocean You need to play this or the Endless Ocean series.
-Wi-Fi gives you On-line leader boards + more.
Why hasn't this gem of a game been reviewed yet?
This is easily the best fishing game ever created.
Hoping to pick up a used copy of this this week. I am also surprised, this has to be one of very few Wii games never reviewed on the site (That isn't shovelware).

This game needs a review!
One of, if not the best fishing game I have ever played, and I have played a lot!
Really hoping for this to show up on the Switch! Go Vacation was ported over, would love this too! What an experience it would be.
