By now you've unwrapped (and probably discarded most of) your Christmas presents and digested your Christmas meal. It's time to talk what you got this year.
No, we don't mean the Christmas meal: tell us about your Nintendo Christmas presents. Was Satoru Claus good to you this year?
Drop us a comment below and let us know what Nintendo goodies you unwrapped this year.

The only things video game related I got was Kirbys Return to Dreamland and a $100 gift certificate for a local retro video game store. I gave my copy of Skyward Sword to my son to unwrap and we spent the day playing it. Tomorrow I will be going out to get a new HDTV.
I hope everyone had a good Christmas themselves.
Super Mario 3D Land
Mario Kart 7
Pushmo
Mighty Switch Force
Nyko Power Pak
Nothing gaming related but I did get a stash of cash amounting to approximately $160. Spent most of it on MK7, Rayman origins and two prepaid cards for the 3DS and PS3.
Enjoy the rest of the Year guys, I know I will.
I don't get gifts anymore. The sucky thing about growing up. ;P
Super Mario Galaxy...
The only Nintendo related things I got were a Zelda Twilight Princess shirt and cap. They're awesome!
Mario Kart 7 was all the Nintendo merchandise I got. I'm still playing Metroid Prime anyway.
I was lucky enough to get Skyward Sword, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, and Rayman Origins. I won't be in need of games to play for a loooong time.
Got the zelda themed 3ds with zelda ocarina of time 3d and a $20 gamestop giftcard which I will be using for Mario kart 7
I got Skyward Sword, Skylanders (3DS) & 16 characters, Batman on PS3, Rayman Origins on Wii. Also an oldie, but classic Megaman Zero collection. Still my game of the year is between Mario Kart 7, Skyrim or Battlefield 3.
I got Mario Kart 7 from my brother and his wife. Then I got Skyward Sword from my mom . . . but it didn't come with the Wii Remote Plus, so I gotta go out tomorrow to snag one so I can play it.
I also got a George Harrison book (Living In A Material World), Army of Darkness on DVD, a Barnes & Noble gift card, and a really nice Keyboard/Synth.
I got some 3DS cards, Epic Yarn, and Mario/Sonic Winter Olympics.
Skyward Sword, Mario 3DS, Kirby, Wii & 3DS Cards.
Bust-a-move: Universe from a mystery santa and I gave myself Xevious courtesy of Club Nintendo. It is a good game.

AND, I got a used, but mint condition, crimson & black DS lite to replace the one I broke a couple of years ago, so that I can have a proper screen for my DS games (as opposed to the 3DS) with a GBA port to boot...aaah, they don't make 'em like that anymore. Plus, I get to use my rumble pak again.
My mommy sent me a copy of Skyward Sword from the Americraine so I don't have to buy a Japanese Wii and/or learn how to read whatever language it is that they speak here. Thanks for helping me be lazy, Mom!
My parents are too stuck-up and intolerant to believe gifting videogames isn't bad.
All I got was a shirt and a pair of pants this year....

Well, this year wasn't my lucky year, but knowing my family, I'll probably be getting late presents in January. Better late than never.
Don't celebrate it but I've been lucky enough to have acquired 9 Nintendo consoles games in Nov and Dec through trade ins and saving up and presents. Been a good holiday season for us therefore.

I didn't get any Nintendo related gifts for Christmas, although I did buy my brother Mario Kart 7.
And he gave me Skyward Sword for my birthday last Friday. Does that count?
I got Fortune Street and by gum I'm hooked. It's amazing how addictive this game is, and as a Monopoly fan it's nice and easy to learn. Weird how it never made it over until now.
I got all my Nintendo swag on their various release dates so no goodies on that side for me. Christmas was dedicated to my Sony consoles.
I got the Skyward Sword Gold Remote bundle. Pretty excited about it!
I got the Skyward Sword (with the gold motion plus remote). I'm listening to the orchestral CD right now.

I experienced one of the worst christmases yet.
I got a $20 3DS Points Card, but I scratched the card too hard and I can barely read the numbers. I'm going to call Nintendo tomorrow and see if they can give me my points.
A couple months ago, after Hurricane Irene, my computer burned down. I'm saving up for a new one, but since I'm in college, money is tight, so I'm barely making it. My parents got me a Windows CE Netbook, and it sucks. Everything is so outdated, and whenever I try to get a new browser, or download anything, it says {filename} is not a valid Windows CE application. My dad said that he knows a guy that can try to dowload windows XP on it. But If he can't my dad promised me he'll buy me a laptop or tablet soon.
That's pretty much all I got. (Besides BEATS headphones and earplugs, which are nice)
My bro hit the jackpot though, he got 20+ things, because it's his last Christmas before College. I wonder if I can go in his room and take a couple things... He's not gonna notice it at all
I got me a 3DS prepaid card! and a bunch of board games and socks. Go 3DS!

However, I still have another celebration to go to, where I have living grandparents and 4 sets of uncles and aunts, so this is not a final list.

And a new 1080p LED tv to play my beautiful Wii U on once I get it

I had a very Zelda Christmas in general, aside from some Fangamer gear.
I got
-Mario Kart 7
-Skylanders
-Rayman Origins
-Over 125 $ for FutureShop
Well lets see here:
...and to think I'd cleared out a large portion of my backlog recently!
A projector to use for all of my consoles. Not really a Nintendo gift but so far I've used it with my n64 snes and Wii (and xbox360) so I'm calling it a Nintendo gift.
I found Super Mario 3D Land and and Mario Kart 7 in my stocking, courtesy of Mrs Clause. I even got the Tanooki Mario preorder bonus Keychain in the bottom of my stocking, which I promptly added to car keys.
FYI, my best friend of 14 years is getting a purple Game Cube + accessories, along with Mario Sunshine and Luigi's mansion. Game Cubes are pretty cheap nowadays (they're like $30 bucks used). I even used a security bit to open the system and blow the dust out with one of those CPU compressed air cans. I wiped down the case and now it looks good as new! He doesn't have any console game system at all, and Sunshine is his favorite Mario game of all time! He'll be coming over to my house on the 26th to celebrate Christmas.
Oh, and I'll likely be getting a Hyperkin Supaboy (handheld SNES) for my B-day in January...
http://retro.nintendolife.com/news/2011/12/supaboy_is_a_portable_super_nintendo_for_usd80
The only Nintendo gift I got was Fortune Street, and Sonic and Sega all Stars(Sonic is mine and my brother's). My brother also got the 3ds Rayman Raving Rabbits game, and a 3ds.
I had a nice Christmas this year!
My little cousin got me 20$,
My brother got me a 3 pound bag of gummy bears, XD
and "Santa" got me Cave Story 3D, and Pokemon Rumble Blast!
I've saved up about 100, so Ima go buy Skyward Sword today!
The only Video Game related things I got for Christmas were these two 3DS game slide cases that hold 6 3DS or DS games each.
I didn't actually GET any video games, but I got VG-related stuff: A Scraggy plush, a Sonic hat, and a Mario Kart pull-back.
i got tetris:axis, mahjong cu3ed and james noir's hollywood crimes from my hubby and the kids. Tomorrow my mom is coming down to visit so I will probably buy some more games and then my dad is coming down in the new year so I will have more presents to add to this list.

Also Uncharted 3 and Skyrim on the PS3 if someone cares to know
Now how can I play this much games?
Last month I traded in my 360 for Super Mario 3D Land and Skyward Sword. Yesterday I got Dragon Quest IX and Pokemon Black. Tomorrow is my birthday and, knowing my wife, I'm 1000% sure I will be getting Mario Kart 7.
MK7
SM3DL
Sonic Generatons
Nintendo Monopoly
2 prepaid cards
Kindle fire.
Yeah, that's about it.
The one thing I really wanted was Super Mario 3D Land, but it didn't seem likely. I was just a little disappointed, but still grateful for the things I was getting. Two days before Christmas, my mom came up behind me and showed me she had gotten the last copy from GameStop (the lady behind her was so mad!). I couldn't have it early so I had to wait, and ended up finding it, literally, in my stocking. Beat the main quest in a day, so I'm hoping the Special Worlds are as challenging as I've heard they are.
I also got a Donkey Kong t-shirt that says 'Going Bananas,' lol.
Sorry Nintedo, Skyrim stole me away from Skyward Sword.
I got :
Kirby's Return to Dreamland
Kirby Mass Attack
It's Kirby year!
Mario Kart 7 (Which is awesome!!)
Steel Diver & Pilotwings Resort

I got Mario Kart 7 my bro got Pokemon Rumble Blast(aka super pokemon rumble) and i got my sister animal crossing city folk

I got $500 and mario kart 7, Happy Holidays everyone.
What I would hope now is that I've recieved a fair amount of streetpass tags since I've purchased my 3DS in August, but what I'm hoping for is that now that Christmas has come and gone and I'm assuming that a lot more people have recieved their own 3DS that my Streetpass tags will go up astronocially.

No Games. Just money for Christmas and "you buy what you want"
A Sexy Red 3DS, Skyward Sword, and the Zelda: Oracle of Ages manga. Also downloaded Four Swords for free, so this was a very Zelda Christmas for me.
Ok James, where did you get that one, the other times it was impressive but that was unreal, when and where did you get it?
Mario Kart 7
The Zelda of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D
Dragon Quest VI Realms of Revelation

I gained one non Nintendo game, Dragon Quest VIII for ps2, then I got some other stuff but I only truly got the ds games and ps2 game for my self.
Mario Kart 7, 3DS, Super Mario 3D Land.
I only got three of the four Wii games I asked for this Christmas.
#firstworldproblems
I got Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land, along with some pretty righteous non-gaming presents.

My family still spoils me, despite being all growed up for a while now. I got a ton of stuff, but not much Nintendo this time; I got two games, Mario Kart 7 from my little brother and Skyward Sword from my boyfriend. I did get a 32" HD television to play all of my amazing (non-HD lol) Nintendo games on, I would count that.
First Party: Wii Sports Resort
Third Party: Solatorobo
Got a PS3 recently so the rest of my presents were for that system.
Kirby's Return to Dreamland
Kirby: Mass Attack
Batman: Arkham City
Good stuff. Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and happy gaming through the New Year!
I didn't get anything video-game related... -is still a teenager-
So pretty much I just have to remind myself that Christmas isn't about the presents, even though they make it a lot better.
Edit: didn't realize asterisks bolded things
Rayman Origins and a Link tunic.
I didn't directly get anything gaming related sadly, however I did get 20 bucks from my gma that I used to buy Arkham Asylum and Portal 2 while they're on sale on Steam

I just got Skyward Sword for Christmas, this year. Gave what I could afford.
Comment #113 disgusts me in every imaginable way.
Agreed with @Singularity
Nothing for me but I gave my little sister Rhythm Heaven and she seems to like it (A Sam's Club find. $10 new which is cheaper then a lot of places used. Saw A Boy and his Blob for $12 and Monster Hunter Tri for $17. Seriously, check your local cost club every once in a while and you can find some good deals). I also gave my Dad the complete Sid Meyer's Civilization IV pack for PC (found at wal-mart for $20, all expansion packs and the spinoff game, Colonization). That game is great and he had lost the disks to install it on his new laptop.
Actually, that series as a whole is pretty great. Dad and his friends played it in college, I remember watching him play it as a kid, I was playing Civ 3 back when I was playing Backyard Baseball (before Atari ruined it) and other kid PC games and I loved Civ 4 until our computer was to slow to run it. We want to get Civ 5 when we get a new PC. Even Civilization Revolution for the DS is a good game and I got it for $8. Ah, nostalgia.
I got some Christmas money that I want to get MK7 with and an Amazon gift card that I might get a PC gaming controller with. Might get some non-Zelda music for my 3DS, I never use my Ipod anymore.
Hey everybody! Just finally decided to sign up after lurking for so long.
Anyways, for Christmas I got MK7, Cave Story 3D, Fortune Street (which is pretty awesome) and Rayman Origins. I also got a eShop prepaid card, which I used to get Pushmo, Mighty Switch Force, and Metroid II.
It's a good time to be a gamer.
@116: there's no need for jealousy; it's not some kind of contest or anything. we're asking what Santa brought people is all, and #113 was an honest answer. :3
i got Mario kart 7 and harvest moon the tale of two towns
Kirby's return to dreamland.
This is being written on my new Kindle Fire.
I got Mario Kart 7 for the 3DS. Its awesome. Such a great game!
I also got Plants VS. Zombies for the DS (playing it on my 3DS). Fun game. Braaaains!
I did get Pushmo a bit before Christmas. Also got Skyward Sword way before Christmas (but was pretty much a Christmas gift).
Hopefully I'll also get some good news from Nintendo (cough*AnimalCrossing3DS*cough) tonight from Japan and sometime this week from America!
My wife got me SM3DL bundled 3DS (and the Sony Wireless Stereo Headphones for BF3). I then picked up Pilotwings & Nintendogs + Cats for $5 a piece. Also picked up Zelda OoT & Mario Kart 7. Loving the 3DS (bought the Nyko battery pack; 8 hrs of wifi gaming), I definitely underestimated it (despite adoring my DSi). Looks like I'll be plenty busy this following month, since I'll be out of the country for vacation - woohoo!
I got an official Nintendo Zelda Pocket Watch that's labled "Zelda 64". It's awesome!
I had:
Professor Layton
Sonic Generations
Mario 3D Land
Cave Story 3D.
@NTELLIGENTMAN You win X-mas!
Skyward Sword

ummn yeah thats about it
Oh yeah, and a 42" lcd 1080p vizio HDTV
Mario kart 7,Money, a gift card, clothes, club penguin membership card and a book
@theblackdragon oh, I'm not jealous. I'm just VERY anti-consumerist Christmas culture. I just feel that if this guy wasn't so blazé about that, others wouldn't feel the need to bash him. But I guess this comes from the fact I live in South Africa where I see people in squalor on a daily basis and get angry that I can do so little to rectify the situation. It's me being 50% curmudgeonly, 50% saintly.
Clothing wise I now have a T-Shirt that reads "That's what she said". It was an awesome gift since I say it almost all the time anyway.
Got Might Switch Force for myself. Also received a $250 Best Buy Gift Card.
Didn't have much else but some shoes and a external hard drive (the latter I'll exchange for a slightly cheaper price.
Not anything Nintendo related this time. Not even MK7.
Sorry, Satoru Claus!
Data East Arcade Classics, Retro Gamer eMag Load 3, and Super Mario 64 Player's Guide to help me find all the stars.
I didn't mention Pushmo and Mighty Switch Force as I got those the day of release. If we're just talking holiday season, though, add those games to my list as gifts to myself.
EDIT: and Gunstringer for 360 Kinect. I also should say Fruit Ninja Kinect I guess since it came with it.
!!!! Finally a nintendo 3ds!!! (well i buy it myself so i was a christmas gift for me)
No games this year. Got my Kindle though which is epic.
Resistance 3 and some cash.
@Mik: one person stepped up to say something negative about what he posted, and that was you. we get where you're coming from, but please, we ask that you be kind to your fellow users here at Nintendo Life. leave your anger at the door, please; don't take it out on others.
I got a limited edition legend of Zelda 3ds from
Electronics boutique I'm waiting for it to come in the mail
Can't wait to get it
My lovely wife got me Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7. That's all I wanted and I couldn't be happier. She's not into gaming so I got her some other nice gifts.
@theblackdragon I apologise.
I got Mario Sports Mix, Twilight Princess, Skyward sword, MASATL2012OG and loads of other non-Nintendo presents. Are these games any good? I haven't played them yet.
From my parents I received an Aqua Blue 3DS console, a copy of Pokemon Black Version and a $15 eShop card.
From my brother and his girlfriend I received a Luigi-dressed-as-Mario plushie, five keyrings (Fire Mario, Mushroom, Cap Goomba, Paragoomba, and Cheep Cheep), a copy of Star Fox 64 3D and a second eShop card.
I gave my brother his own Cosmos Black 3DS console and a copy of Star Fox 64 3D (funny how we gave each other the exact same game, isn't it? )
During the Boxing Day sales yesterday I picked-up Pokemon White Version to complement my copy of Black.
That is all.
Mario Kart 7.
LoZ: Ocarina of Time 3D.
Right after i opened it, i played the cheese out of Mario Kart 7!
OoT is sadly still in the lobby.
Great Christmas!
Amazing Day
Let's see:
Super Mario 3D Land
Mario Kart 7
Sonic Colors
and an IOU for Rhythm Heaven Fever
Not too shabby
A Gamestop gift card, which I used to buy Dead or Alive Dimensions, Nano Assault, and a replacement copy of Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon.
Also, I got socks XD
I got-
Also got a bunch of Legos but that's not Nintendo stuff so I won't list them.
@ 12 mario/sonic at the olympic games is by sega
An Offspring poster signed by the original band (an extremely rare item in NZ)
Wario land shake dimension
DeBlob 2
$70 worth of eb games vouchers (which will be going towards a special edition zelda 3ds console. If they let me do a system transfer in store, that is)
And the most important gift was:
My late Father's wedding ring. My mother gave it to me several years ago, and I had misplaced it. I was fearful that I would never see it again, and it had extreme sentimental value to me. I moved out recently, and while my mum was rearranging the room after I had left, she found it. She kept it until Christmas (about a year after I had misplaced it). It was totally unexpected and really made my Christmas. I am never taking it off again.
This was a banner year for me. I bought the Zelda 3DS bundle ($179.99) on Black Friday along with Super Mario 3D Land, Starfox 64, Sonic Generations, and Street Fighter IV. But wait, there's more....
For the Wii, I got Rayman Origins (for $35 on Black Friday) , Kirby's Return to Dreamland, and Skyward Sword with the gold controller. Then, during Gamestop's 3 for 2 sale I bought Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Rock Band 1 and 2 ($6 each), Wii Fit w/ balance board ($50), and I have been playing Skyrim on my Mac (figure that out). I have so much to play, its a full time job!
I'm going to pick Mario Kart 7 in the New Year, I did buy Rayman Origins for £18:00 then two days later it's been reduced to £15:00, I'm not doing that again....
So I'll wait for a price reduction for Sonic Generations
I feel like Mik does, but I'll keep my mouth shut about it... Games are games, I'm glad we all got a little something.
I don't really get gifts since all my people wouldn't get me a video game gift if it would cure cancer but I did get myself Skyward at launch, and Pushmo a few days back. A really lame image search game on dsiWare, and I'm very happy about all the Nintendo gifts to us with all the updates, the ambassador games and video function. As a filmmaker, the 3d video toy is the funnest thing I could ever get to fit in a pocket. Also got Fluidity from Club N and many points left for more games, plus the platinum award buttons. All the cool extras have really kept me buying N junk, keep it up nintendo; happy holidays to me.
Any other adult closet gamers have techniques for convincing your family that Video games are not the mark of right-wing, consumer sheepdom? My people don't understand the appeal so I have to supply my own habit.
EarthBound
Skyward Swoooooooord!
I got OOT 3D & Mrio Kart 7. With a late November birthday, there isn't much stuff left to get for christmas!
Got my 3DS, 6 games for it and 4 VC games, 2 GBC games and some other stuff.
Didn't get anything Nintendo-related as far as games this year. I did get Sonic Generations and the signature edition of Assassin's Creed: Revelations for the 360 as well as a 3-month XBL Gold card. Most of the other games I wanted I bought throughout the year because I couldn't wait to play them.
I got:
Sega Saturn (Black)
Sonic Jam
Sonic R
Sonic 3D Blast
Mario Party 3
Donkey Kong Country Returns (My 1st copy mysteriously disappeared)
Kinect (for some reason)
picked up madden and sims 3 for 4.99 from best buy - mario 3ds and 50 in the eshop. thinking I want MYST 3D soon - also got frogger and the case — oh how I want resident evil case ..
I got
Nintendo Monopoly
A Super Mario Bros. shirt.
Mario Kart Double Dash
A plush Coin Block that makes coin sounds when bumped.
A Sonic bobble head.
And Mario and Luigi in LEGO form (except Mario had two of the same arm :/ )

Most of my gifts came in the form of music related items, but as far as games go I still got some nice stuff. The 3DS and Super Mario 3D Land were waiting for me and some money which I bought a 3DS Card and Mario Kart 7 with. Also a bit un-related, but after a long Nintendo burnout the 3DS has kick started my love in the company once again!

@pntjr "I got a $20 3DS Points Card, but I scratched the card too hard and I can barely read the numbers. I'm going to call Nintendo tomorrow and see if they can give me my points."
They totally can. Same thing happened to me, and they fixed me up. It scares me to scratch them off now. Anyway, they'll give you a control number or something, and you have to send a picture of the card. Um, you might need a picture of the receipt, too . . . can't quite remember. Try to get that from whomever gave you the card if you can.
I downloaded Pullbox, Mighty Switch Force, Zen Pinball & Tetris (GB) with anticipated Christmas money.
Then I tapped & unwrapped my presents on Christmas morning
Today I also picked up cheap copies of Starfox 3D & WarioWare Smooth Moves.
Mario Kart 7
Sonic Generations (3DS)

Just Skyward Sword this year, although my brother got Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land, so I'll get around to playing them when he's done with them.
Also, I finally picked up a copy of Smash Bros. Melee today, so I'll be gaming for a while yet! Now I have to try not to waste all my money on Steam sales!
Well, I got an iPad! Also, I got $150, which I've used some of so far to buy Zelda: Skyward Sword (Which is epic!) and two eShop cards. With the eShop cards, I bought Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2, CATRAP, Freakyforms, Pushmo, Pyramids, and Kirby's Adventure (3D Classics, of course). I'm having a great time with all my games, and I'm expecting to get MORE money, so that means MORE games!!! It's great being young!
